Frequently asked questions
Do my guests need to install an app or create an account?
No. They scan the QR code, the page opens in their browser and they send their photos. No app, no account, no password.
What if the signal is bad during the party?
Each photo a guest picks waits on their phone until it has safely arrived. If the connection drops, the upload picks up again when the network is back, and if the guest closes the page, they find their pending uploads when they reopen it. The safest way is still to keep the page open until the upload is done.
How many photos and videos can be sent?
The free plan accepts 200 photos and videos per event, including up to 10 videos of 30 sec at most. The Event plan goes up to 10,000 (fair use), with videos of 3 min at most. The number of guests is not limited.
Are photos kept in full quality?
On the free plan, photos are kept as optimised versions (2,048 px at most): originals are not kept. On the Event plan, originals are kept for photos sent after you switch to it; photos sent before stay optimised.
How long is the album kept?
30 days after the event on the free plan, 12 months on the Event plan. Before the end, you get e-mail reminders with a link to download everything, and you can extend by 12 months for €19.
Who can see the photos?
Only people who have the event’s QR code or link, and only if you open the gallery to guests. You can also approve each photo before it appears, hide or delete a photo, and block a guest.
Can I download all the photos?
Yes, as one or more ZIP files from your dashboard: original photos on the Event plan, optimised photos on the free plan.
Can a guest remove a photo they sent?
Yes. From “My photos”, each guest can delete their own photos and videos at any time.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days if fewer than 20 photos were sent. Payment is secured by Stripe: no card data goes through Sunopic.
I’m a photographer or a venue: is there a plan for me?
A Pro plan (white label, several events at once) is planned. It is not available yet.
